Project Details:
Indi was seeking a contractor to rebuild the goindi.com website on the latest version of WordPress. Scope shall include:
Creation of a base template compatible with the Gutenberg block layout management system, based on the current design and graphic assets of goindi.com
Recreation of the following key pages as pages designed with the Gutenberg block layout editor:
– Home (goindi.com)
– Business (goindi.com/businesses)
– About (goindi.com/about)
– Workers (goindi.com/workers)
Deliverables:
– Complete source code, databases, and assets required to build and run goindi.com and the pages included in scope above
– A WordPress codebase built upon the Bedrock framework and managed via Composer
– A minimal number of third-party plug-ins
– A like-for-like replica of the current goindi.com website theme including standard headers/footers/navigation, etc. – – Reproduced for WordPress
– Code and configuration delivered in compliance with WordPress community best practices for code quality, structure, and SEO
– Inclusion of necessary code/configuration to support Google Tag Manager
Neve theme with Otter-blocks plugin
Neve theme is specialized for otter-blocks. I could build most of elements using otter-blocks plugin widgets.
Testimonial Carousel
Built the testimonial carousel with Owl carousel api – API libraries inserted at header.
Pseudo Background Images
Used custom css to insert pseudo images on the section’s top and bottom.
Fixed Header
Using jQuery, added custom class to header widget. The header becomes fixed while scrolling.
