Portal Data Imports

The client complained about the difficulty of product data imports and lower search functionality. The site uses the All Import extension to handle the imports and then reruns it for inventory updates.  The client asked to enable them to search products by SKU.

I added the Product SKU to the searchable area options and created 6 product import templates. These templates will pull the data dynamically from the uploaded Excel file. I made a different structure for each portal’s template.

Ongoing Login issues & User management

When I reviewed the user management status, I found no structure in user emails, names, or roles, which contributed to ongoing login issues. In terms of user roles, they were having issues differentiating the use of Administrator, Client, and Customer roles.

So, I established naming rules for username/email on each portal and limited access so that each portal user could only access their own portal site. Additionally, I refined user roles to keep only Admin and customer roles.

After updating the roles, I updated all plugins and PHP versions to the latest version.
